CHANGE

The only constant I know is change

Physically you grow and change

Intellectually you develop and change

The earth’s climate and landforms change

Plants and animals continually change

Governance and political systems change

Locus and nature of power change

People like you, hate you, often change

Yesterday’s hero undergoes change

And is a villain today due to change

Today’s hero undergoes change

And is tomorrow’s villain after change

Some keep stuck, swerving off change

The only thing they will see is change.
