Hands that clap tell a shallow story
They tell but a minute fractional story
Those hands often adore vain glory
To elevate egos that can fill a lorry.
But real goodness is from deep within
Seeking good for others strange or kin
It itches the holder from toe to chin
Till he heartedly helps another to win.
The world you want to help is abstract
Your action will often just subtract
Unless you use your God-given craft
To benefit those as imperfect as a draft.
To treat one sick is to heal the world
To educate one is to edify the world
To feed one is to nourish the world
Tomorrow, go out and help the world.
