About Andrew

I am a firm believer in human potential

For some it is harnessed effortlessly; for most of us it needs encouragement. I have dedicated myself to being that encourager — through the written and the spoken word.

A servant of God and a friend of man. Andrew Obara is a Ugandan author, management consultant and speaker. Born in Tororo in 1963, he holds a PhD, an MBA in Finance and a first degree in Economics — and spent 25 years in banking before turning to the work he calls his calling: helping people develop to their full potential.

Speaking & mentorship

Andrew speaks to boards, banks and young professionals.

Twenty-five years of senior banking and consulting practice, delivered as encouragement people can act on.

Once she started, she finished reading it in two weeks and then I gave it to my brother who can hardly put the book down after starting to read. The personal advice, spiritual value and great wisdom in Dr. Obara’s book just amazes me.”
